Dr. Kyle Stalder
Optometrist

Dr. Stalder earned his undergraduate education at Iowa State University with a bachelors degree in biology. In 2006, he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Originating from the Scranton and Jefferson areas, one of Dr. Stalder’s goals was to return to Iowa after graduation to serve the residents of the communities and surrounding communities that he grew up in.

As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Stalder provides comprehensive eye examinations, diagnoses, and treats, all disorders that affect the eye and vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Stalder is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, Dr. Stalder is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and hypertension. He also works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is Dr. Stalder’s dedication to continuing education that his patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available. Dr. Stalder was married to his wife Cheri in 2000 and they and their four children reside on an acreage outside of Jefferson. In his spare time Dr. Stalder enjoys attending and coaching his childrens various sports teams and school activities as well as visiting major league baseball parks
